KWEA Scholarship Program
An exciting opportunity exists for children of KWEA members in
furthering their education. The Kansas Water Environmental Association
stresses the importance of a continuing education and offers a number
of scholarships to those striving for excellence.
The Kansas Water Environment Association is initiating a scholarship
program for students wishing to pursue a career in environmental
studies. Three scholarships will be made available the first year:
one $1000.00 scholarship for a college junior and two $250.00 scholarships
for technical school students.
This award is limited to only students of Kansas schools. There
is not any financial need requirements, only an essay and advisor
recommendation. The applications are due January 31, 2002, and will
be awarded at the KWEA conference
held on April 15-18, 2002 in Wichita, Kansas.
