The Kansas
Water Environment Association is a non-profit technical and educational
organization. Our goal is to preserve and enhance the quality of
water throughout the state of Kansas.

KWEA
is comprised of over 500 water quality specialists from the state
of Kansas including engineers, biologists, government officials,
wastewater treatment facility operators, laboratory technicians,
university professors, students, equipment manufacturers, and distributors.
From these
members, seventeen committees and their chairs strive
to maintain the goals of the organization.
The association's
mission is to enhance the fundamental knowledge
of the water environment, stimulate public interest, and advance
technology through information transfer on the design, operation,
management, and construction of wastewater treatment facilities.
