The program this year offers three whole days of technical sessions and a one-day preconference workshop.

This training offered by KWEA is accepted as credit towards the voluntary certification renewal program. In addition to the Great Environmental Minds Competition, the KWEA will be hosting a Backhoe Rodeo. Exhibits will be open 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday.

The KWEA is pleased this year to welcome Water Environment Federation (WEF) Vice-President Lynn Orphan. There will also be a special presentation by Eco-Troubadour Stan Slaughter as he shares with us his own unique and innovative style of environmental education. We will be hearing from both of them during the Opening Session on Tuesday morning.

There are two evening functions scheduled. On Tuesday night, there will be a complimentary Meet & Greet in the exhibit hall sponsored by many of our supporters. Following the Meet & Greet will be karaoke and bingo hosted by our own Jim Tush. On Wednesday evening KWEA will host the Annual Awards Banquet. The Awards Banquet is our opportunity to acknowledge the outstanding contributions of our members. Lynn Orphan, WEF Vice-President, will be on hand to present these prestigious awards.
